how did we optimise, earlier?
We worked closely with the Abergeldie engineering team during tender to optimise the methodology and minimise potential risks associated with the works. Advanced analysis enabled us to significantly optimise the shafts and minimise reinforcement and cement content requirements. This significantly reducing the carbon footprint. Andy O design optimisations also allowed for the required pipe class to be changed, also reducing carbon significantly.
